All Season Climate Control System
The Equitector boots with Climate Control have a unique insulative interior designed to keep your feet at body temperature whatever the weather. The lining is INSULATIVE and non-heating. A heat reflective foil is attached to the lining and underneath the insole and the boot works like a vacuum flask. The foot temperature will remain constant because the body temperature is trapped inside the boot and cannot escape into the atmosphere. The boots prevent cold feet in temperatures as low as 25C and thermal winter socks are no longer needed. The foot is fully enclosed and will no longer be affected by outside temperature therefore, when the weather warms up, because there is no change to the climate inside the boot, the foot does not overheat. The boots are designed to be used in all seasons and do not feel hot when the weather warms up. You will not get sweaty feet as you would with most thermal boots and when it is warm outside the boots will keep the heat out keeping your feet cool.
Hoof Proof Toe Protection System
All Equitector boots have a built in toe protection system which is supported by a re-enforced sole, which is safe as well as on firm ground. In case of an accident the sole is sufficiently strong to withstand the impact and the protective foot compartment will remain intact. The boots are designed to withstand a compression of 1,000kg (2,200 Lbs) and they are independently tested. They comply with European Safety Standard BS EN346. Equitector Riding and Stable boots will protect the most exposed part of the foot against the impact of the hoof of a horse of any size whether on soft or firm ground.
Durability
Urine resistant soles and rot and waterproof leather mean these boots are designed to last.
Easy Rider Stirrup Balance System
Most riders struggle daily to keep their feet in the correct position in the stirrup iron. The cause of the problem is due to the incorrect balance in boots. Most are designed like fashion footware with the balance about 2 inches or about 4 to 6 cm behind the ball of the foot. Whilst this may be ideal for walking, when in the saddle, even with applying some pressure, it is often difficult for the rider to keep the foot in the stirrup steady on the ball of the foot. In order to keep control over the foot, subconsiously, the rider will move the foot to a slightly different position every 20 to 30 seconds. When you put your foot flat on the tread plate of the stirrup iron due the balanance of the boot the riders heels are forced up. When you psh the heels down the toes come up disengaging most of the contact with the stirrup. The Equitector Stirrup Balance System resolves this problem. The balance of the boot has been designed to align the heel inside the boot with the tread plate of the stirrup iron. (see picture below) The heels no longer have to be pushed down with force. The forepart of the boot does not rise and you continue to keep contact over the full width of the stirrup iron which gives you more support. The adjustment we have made to the balance in the boots is insufficient to interfere with walking but sufficient to make a major difference to the rider when in the saddle. alignment heel to tread plate Irrespective of the leg position and without applying any undue pressure the alignment is maintained and the foot will stay in the correct position in the stirrup naturally. The new foot and leg position will help the rider?s balance, improve the position and seat.
Back problems?
The Stirrup Balance System improves your posture and reduces stress on all the limbs below the belt including the lower back, easing aches and pains whilst in the saddle.
Waterproof
Most of our boots are made out of waterproof leather and by sealing all seams they are totally waterproof.
